Nathan Carrabba

I am an internationally published Food Stylist and Recipe Developer. With over 10 years of professional cooking experience, I have styled for some of the biggest publications and companies in the United States.  I have experience in editorial, packing and advertising, and am available to travel.

My path to being a stylist started shortly after attending culinary school. I wanted to combine my love of art with my deep passion for food. Having collected hundreds of local and international food magazines, I naturally gravitated towards Food Styling and Recipe Development. After assisting local professionals for a year, I started getting my own professional work, where I had the opportunity to style for cookbooks and advertising jobs. I was later recruited to work as a staff stylist for Time Inc., where I styled and developed recipes for publications such as Weight Watchers, Cooking Light, and Southern Living Magazine.

Currently I am working freelance and continuing to refine my style. I tend to gravitate to images that have exciting use of color, modern or unexpected propping, and appealing food.
